SPEAK PAGE 198

"'you've been through a lot, havn't you?'

The tears dissolve the block of ice in my throat. I feel the frozen stillness melt down through the inside of me, dripping shards of ice that vanish in a puddle of sunlight on the stained floor. Words float up.

Me:'Let me tell you about it,"

i personally love this part it is the end she has finally found her voice earlier against Andy Evans and now her voice shines again and decides to tell someone about it.

Second independent reading book- what I like/dislike about it.

theres so little to like but enough to keep me interested.
Likes
1) A dog is the antagonist while a mom and kid are the protagonists wow unexpected.
2) Theres a side story: not horror but drama; the wife cheated on vic with steve and steve gets revenge for being dumped by donna leaving a goodbye present by masterbating and spreading semen on the master bed. so dramatic!
3) The dog was so lovable at first, no hes a murder hes the antagonist you sympathize for wowzers!

And now for the... DISLIKES
1) the beginning side story about a killer is so far still just a waste of 5 mins of my life i have no idea why it's there it just is
2) the whole Sharp Cereal Professor plot bores me to sleep 15 pages every 30 pages i am bored yada yada yada buisness tips is not what i wanted i wanted HORROR DIE CUJO DIE!!!!!!!!!!
3) lack of imagination at least make the dog more strong or fast its just a story that could happen to anyone.... people say thats the horror to it because it CAN happen, not me if it can happen then it wont scare me BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!

2009 low and highlights

other than the horrific theme you expierience love towards the characters in this book it is the most amazing book ive read in my 14 year old life
the lowest of the low is Breaking Dawn which was a waste of 20 dollars to me stay away from it stephanie meyer's grip on my attention weakened on the first page and completely lost the grip in the end. its dead to me
